What We Are
Carmel Wine and Wandering is Carmel-by-the-Sea's dedicated sommelier-led wine walking tour. We are a wine-specialist company — not a food tour with wine added on. Our tour combines guided, curated wine tastings at hand-selected local boutique tasting rooms with walking commentary on Carmel's history, architecture, and hidden alleyways.
We are operated by Wandering Tours Inc. and are locally based in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
Founded in 2023.
Who We Are
As wine enthusiasts ourselves, we started Carmel Wine and Wandering because we wanted to share our own passion for Carmel-by-the-Sea and its phenomenal local wines with visitors. We felt that while there are others who do a great job of introducing the history and points of interest, our wine-centric region had little to no representation - so here we are - Wine And Wandering!
With a plethora of tasting rooms, it’s hard to know where to start, so we hand-selected the best partners with the most stunning regionally-produced wines to share with you. As locals we know the stories that go beyond the surface. We are thrilled to bring these special stories to life and help you make the most of your valuable getaway time and create lifelong memories.
